Kia Ora Bloggers,
This week we had some special guests join us in our online meetings. We've taken screenshots and added them below to show you how surprised we were. Thank you, Miss Lane, Mrs Peterson and Mrs Law for joining us, reading stories and updating us with how you are going.

We've also been really busy with our distance learning. Some of the highlights were creating book reviews, using pixel art to create characters in maths, creating a poem page for a junior journal that included an audio file, building word finds, developing our drama skills in our class meetings and folding origami using Origami player. We've included a few examples of these activities in the presentation below. We would love some feedback.
Hi Kaiwhare! I love the different activities you've done. You guys have been super busy. I like the idea of you all looking surprised at the special guests. I also like the colourful pixel arts you guys did, well done. It was really funny seeing the picture of your class happy, sad and excited. Your origami crafts look so cool. I like the different things you made. You guys are giving me so much ideas for what I can do: word search's, poems, origami, pixel art, thank you. It seems like you guys have had a very busy week.
ReplyDeleteAmazing blogpost Kaiwhare. I love the photos and slideshow you added. I am looking forward to reading more activities you guys will do. Stay safe and stay awesome,
Bye!!!
Wow Kaiwhare! I really like the way you are actively engaged in your online meetings. The expression on your faces is priceless. I enjoyed looking at the slides in your presentation, it is great to see the activities you've done.
ReplyDeleteHow has online learning at home been for you during Alert Level 3? Did it help having your teachers set out the tasks for the week? Maybe you could use one of the activities in the presentation to create your own 'thank you' for the teachers, or say what you appreciate about them. I think you all have been doing outstanding work. If you agree, give yourself a pat on the back (one hand over the opposite shoulder and pat a few times).
Keep up the amazing work Kaiwhare, and your enthusiasm for learning.
I appreciate that!
Deleteyour welcome josie
DeleteTena Koutou Katoa Kaiwhare!,
ReplyDeleteI have really enjoyed looking through all of your incredible work and learning that you have been doing while Aotearoa has been in lockdown Kaiwhare!. You all should be super proud of yourselves. I definitely agree with Whaea Sally you all should give your self a pat on your backs. I especially liked seeing your faces looking happy, sad, and excited. I have to say, my favourite slide was EXCITED KAIWHARE It has been such a long time since I have seen your faces. Keep up the SUPERB work Kaiwhare... Kia kaha, Kia Mia, Kia Manawanui .
